3 Weeks

Image
Our precious little son is 3 weeks old today.   Where does the time go?  He is out of that newborn stage out growing his newborn sleepers and onesies.  He has learned to share some smiles and well can still sleep through his sisters terrorizing screams and cries thankfully.  Looking forward to the next weeks sort of….I don’t want the time to fly by as quickly as it has, but c’est la vie.

As promised I dug out my camera and took some photo’s.  Here is the picture of the baby-to-b's room.  I was inspired with this colour by a friends sisters bedroom.  I just love BRIGHT.  At first we thought we might’ve needed sunglasses to get used to the shade, but it just becomes a part of the house. The girls pretty in purple room.  The floor is mostly managing to stay neat and tidy lately and we have a “new” rule that we have to make beds now.  I don’t really enjoy making my own bed in the mornings, but my dear husband likes a made bed.  And well I did grow up making my bed every morning, so I guess I should try and teach the girls this trait too.  It does look better   (Thanks Mom for the training!) Our new bathroom floor……not something you take a picture of every day, but I’m so thankful for not having a white floor to clean anymore.  YAY! Another odd picture. But its another very exciting project ...

Waiting for someone to fill those little booties. Showing a little loving for the new person to enter our lives, even before he/she really has entered into it.  I wonder what sort of smothering this poor baby is going to receive from his/her big sisters. Also recently my hubby and I celebrated 6 years of marriage.  It’s not the 6 years that have gone by that makes me think, wow!  Its this past year that has gone by ever so quickly.  Last year we were in Hawaii celebrating our 5th, now were eagerly awaiting our 3rd celebrating our 6th.  Us still smiling after 6 wonderful years together.  Life has been good!  So we don’t really have a reason not to smile.  We have been extremely blessed in our married lives…….too many to name, but I’m glad I ca...
