4!

Image
Someone turned 4 in this house just over a week ago.  He had a blast with his Go Bananas party and loved receiving so many gifts mostly with wheels….he’s busy planning next years party.   As easy as it was for me to take everything to Go Bananas it took him days to figure out that his party was there.  He loves having his mom do all the work at an in home kind of party. Anyways some photos to share of our happy kid! At home opening presents.  Gotta love the big sister help! and Batteries for a gift…can’t run a remote control though unless you have batteries. This big sister is reading and writing like crazy, so fun! Party Friends! Cupcake cheers at Grandpa’s! Party 1 with Daddy’s family Even Grandpa came over to our house to help party! I just love this photo….look how excited his cousins are about his gift. They opened it up and flew the plane shortly after. 2 Castle cakes!  Good thing he picked a super easy one for me to replicate….just did...

I’m back and hopefully with the complete story.  So I lastly posted about Meyers Creek.  Our campground for that evening was Bullards Beach State Park.  We arrived with a fore warning to not head to the beach with our precious children.  The Park Ranger was so nervous about the ocean and the crazy stormy waves that were crashing in.  Of course we weren’t going to let them close to the ocean…but that fear wasn’t stopping us from seeing the ocean.  We were so close to it how could we resist?  Or so we thought 3/4 miles was a close walk right?  Nothing like trudging through the sand for that long of a walk.  Attempting to carry a 30lb toddler and encouraging a 3 and 6 year old that they can make this distance without being carried as well. This is my we are almost there right?? ‘ Ok that trudge was worth it!! We can do our run around and put more sand in our ears trick. Miss A was the photographer for the trip to the beach…she needs a few ...

so I probably have 15 things seeking my attention, but I just couldn’t resist this oppurtunity of quiet around the house to get back to this blog post and finish something off my list. Anyways where were we? MacKerricher St. Park Doesn’t breakfast look delicious……oh wait we ate it all up except for the juicy red strawberries waiting to be gobbled up. (If you look closely you can see everyone’s face) Our morning here started out with everyone in good moods, the weather was fantastic…see even I managed to pull out my shorts this fine day.  We had fun exploring the tide pools. Watching the crashing of the waves, being entertained by some seals, chipmunks and many things of the beauty of creation.  Ok, I can’t say we were all in a good mood the whole time….but we’ll let those memories fade ? For some reason this photo makes me think there are palm trees (seaweed forms)   Life is rough at the sea? Unfortunately we have to leave this warm and sunny place and s...
