Some More of Oregon

Image
What can you do on a sand dune? To see this smile on his face is so priceless.  Lets just say a good smile like this from this guy is very hard to find from all our pictures.  He LOVES ocean life!!  But who doesn’t?? Some other randoms….. And we haven’t visited Oregon without stopping at our favourite cheese factory!

Whatever happened to Oregon?

Our steal of a deal rental…… Had all kinds of cool places to play. Nothing like eating outdoors. Walking on big trees. Or trying to climb as high as Daddy on the sand Dune Yes, it was very cold…….

Blessings

This past Saturday was a special day for a special someone in our lives.  Our Grandma H. turned 95.  She is an amazing woman!  She isn’t a grandmother who ever complains.  She out does herself every time we come to visit.  Our children call her Grandma Smarties because we can never leave her house without them having more than a handful of smarties in their hands. She always listens to our stories and always tells us great stories of her own.  The best part of it all is that she may not be our grandma by blood relation we are still as important to her as her own. We love her so much and continue to wish her God’s surrounding blessings and care.

Friendship

Image
There are those people in your life who you’ve grown up with, told all your problems too, hugged you when you needed them, laughed so hard, stayed up until 2 am celebrating each other, making memories and moments that last forever.  People who phone you, email you and come up with crazy ideas.  Friends who drink wine, eat chocolate and have fun! Friends who are gold………   The final results of this adventure will be linked up in about 2-3 weeks.  For now if you have no clue as what we did as friends, you’ll be in for a pleasant surprise or shock.

The Project

Usually I don’t do short 1 or 2 photo sneak peaks if I can help it.  And the last few had to be that way because well I couldn’t help it.  There is a little girl in our house who just recently turned 4 and for her birthday we connived up a plan for her gift.  This is how, why and what we’ve been working on the past 2 weeks and for who!   It all started with searching high and low for the right layout. Then you need all the right tools. Of course it takes lots of concentration, measure twice, cut once You end up with something boring like this. So out come the paints, and out come the paint brushes……. Out comes the carpets, linos and the weights too help them stick to the house. You add the final touches and make it look so much fun to play with……..all in eager anticipation for a little girl to wake up in the morning to discover a new surprise. And that next morning you can just see a certain little twinkle in that little girls eyes! Happy Birth...

Mr. M

Oh No this isn’t about Mr. Monkey……..though this guy is fairly cute I believe the Mr. M I’m talking about is much more adorable. Staring up at one of the most important people in the world. Big Bro…….well let’s just say when you’re 2 cooperating for a picture isn’t always in the books . And when you’re mommy gets to take photo’s of your cute cousins that also means you get to have snuggles and kisses.  They love baby M.  In fact every baby according to my guy is now baby M!
