Seeing The Fingerprints

13 years of Blessings for sure! Celebrated our anniversary at home this year....doesn't happen often, but it was wonderful!  Our own photographer taking photos of the event..... Still fits...after having these 4 blessings....they were thrilled to see me in this dress! First time we ever had dinner after the kids went to bed..... Each card was of a map that D+I have traveled to....13 places and inside was a note about something I love about him.... The Dinner Menu was Asian Pear Salad Coconut Shrimp Bacon Wrapped Scallops Lemon Meringue Pie  Along with wine of course.... Anniversary celebrations at home aren't so bad after all!

Our oldest son turned 7 a little while ago.... Here are some fun moments from his special days of celebrating! His favourite thing is Lego... I love how all our kids still get so excited for each others birthdays!!! They're all involved :) Family Party....his request was a hockey cake...hopefully it met his standards. Who am I kidding all those presents top the cake!! Reading mail from his aunt!!  He couldn't wait to get the mail every day as some special people send him mail!  Even our loving 100 years old Grandma!! Friends Party!! These are the detectives of the party...better watch out! They did a super job on their mission and managed to be awarded for solving the case! Mission #1 Was making it through the lasers....the fastest.   Mission #3 was popping the bombs!! My favourite photo of the birthday boy!  Haha that face!!  They had so much fun!  If you want any tips how to run a mission/detective type ...

Some exciting stuff has happened to our house this past year + The bathroom when we moved in....I really don't miss the red... I absolutely love the new colour in our bathroom!!  Thanks to my friend for helping me pick such fun colours!  I love colour.  This one is called  Deep Ocean (I love the sea so this was an appropriate choice) Front Entrance.  The left is the old colour...the new colour on the right along with that cute key box!!!  More wall art still needed, but it all takes time. The old... The new colour...its called Woodlawn blue.  The photo doesn't do it justice...but I definitely love it!  Again thanks to my wonderful friend for helping pick such fun colours. In came the red colour again from the old....and the oak fire place....nope not missing that at all! Exciting times happened not that long ago....my best friend became married.  It was a beautiful day in more than one way. The Location.... Eek...... Taking some opportunity in the sunshine!!  After the ceremony it was time to party at the reception.  I didn't have any crazy entertainment like N did on our wedding....like power points and crazy hilarious skits.  However I thought it appropriate that since I've known her as a friend for about 18 years I could say a few words.  Here is what I said.
