End to a good day

5:00 dinner on the beach... Best beach wine cup you can find! Followed by lots of play time!

Beaches, water, shells, Dolphins

Yesterday was another chill day. Hung around our lovely cottage and hit the beach. The littlest guy was soaked in salt water in no time. And laughing away every time he was splashed. If he wasn't attempting to drown himself in the Gulf he was chasing the birds down the beach.  We also spent time in the backyard of the cottage. This hammock was a highlight! Today was the first time we set an alarm all vacation. Not that we needed to. One of the kids was bound to wake us up.... Anyways we headed on a boat to spot Dolphins and head to Egmont island to collect some amazing shells.  A also went on her first snorkel trip as well. She's ready for bigger snorkeling experience as she was a natural! The walk on Egmont island  Some of the treasures we found.  All other photos of the day are actually on my camera not iPod. So you'll have to wait to see what else happened:)

Rain...no bucketing

I awoke to this drip drip plop sound. It is down pouring. The decision to head to Legoland this day may be a huge mistake...but the tickets were purchased. Or so we hope. The email with the tickets still hasn't come through this morning.  We packed up all our belongings as we are also switching homes today. Everything and everyone was in the van before 10 am the departure time! We drove to Legoland and heard the paw patrol song for about 3/4's of the trip.  Then we arrived at Legoland parked our vehicle. Half way walking to the front gate realized our tablet with the confirmation number on it was still in the van...I waited and waited with the kids. Of course the tablet was dead....couldn't get the confirmation code. D was trying to charge it in the van but because it's not an apple device it wouldn't turn on right away.... So we went to the ticket booth to see f they could look it up via our credit card. Wasn't coming up. While D still waited for the guy to loo...

Wise break day

So our original plans were to head to Disney the 2nd day in a row. However our plans to head to the Kennedy space station to watch a launch were postponed. The launch we wanted to watch was set for another day. We decided to have a break day. The time zone change can make for a little bit of a challenge on most people's moods. So we hung out in the warm sunshine and yes swam swam and swam some more.  There was also lots of Lego building going on. These girls with there dads help finished off their fancy yacht.  Don't worry the little guy had just as much fun pulling pieces off of it.  Thankfully broken Lego structures are fixable.  The next day was Animal Kingdom day. The little guys were definitely more excited about being here than seeing all those princesses.  After spending time in the hot and sunny environment nothing like eating an ice cream!  E sitting in the sun because he was cold from being drenched in the last ride we went on.  The River Rap...

The big fluffy characters are scary!

The other night ended in spending the kids hard earned money at downtown Disney. I usually love crowds and people watching. But if there was a little less crowd this time I'd have preferred a smaller crowd. Keeping an eye out on 4 kids who all at times decide to wonder off  or get distracted by some toy was a bit interesting. We however didn't lose anyone. And all the kids found a souvenir or more than 1.  Again we thank all those who donated bottles and cans. A little work and a lot of fun shopping around.  See him riding one of these one day...not sure if I'll be on the back though.  He Loved this dinosaur.  These girls love Lego friends. Kind of fun seeing one in life size.  The next day was Magic Kingdom day.  Thanks to a stranger for doing a photo swap so we could have all of us on one photo.  Regonize this guy?? He was pretty funny telling us how he had to live with Alice.  mr J wasn't too keen on the characters getting too close to us....

Life's pretty good if you can have lollipops.

Well it's official we hit the ground in Tampa yesterday without a hitch. Just a fairly big clunk.  So here's the beginning of the story.  We've had our home on the market for over 6 weeks. We've had a March Florida vacation planned for almost a year now. We didn't have a hot clue our house would be for sale at that time, but an opportunity came up and so its on the market.  Anyways planning, packing a holiday vacation and keeping a house super tidy is a bit of a challenge. So I thought I would start the vacation packing early.  Snack bags for the plane and entertainment packs were ready. Even some of the suitcases were 1/2 packed.  Things were going smoothly and the house was still staying clean for showings. Don't ask about sanity levels... That was all until Sunday morning just a day before travel I woke up with a stomach bug. Oh no!!!! I wasn't worried about myself just having nightmares of everyone else getting this while on the airplane. I put myself in...
