Traditional Trip

Image
I try not to follow too many traditional things but there are a few around this season I can't resist.  One is the Santa Train put on by the west coast express... The other is candle light breakfast on Christmas morning. Riding on the train with family! Missed the traditional photo outside the train....(see I'm not to much of a stickler when it comes to tradition)   (Who is that crazy kid....) Cousin time! Stopped at Starbucks for a treat Enjoying the view... The bird was a little close for comfort What a beautiful MaCaw and daughter  Chilling in the rainforest advertising for his Uncle!! The cool kids in the back of the bus! Horse and Wagon ride.  Bob and Tail took us for a jingle ride Ho ho ho.... Have a great day everyone!

An exciting age.....

She's growing up too quickly for my liking in some ways....but in others I'm excited about this age too!  Ms. A celebrating her birthday!  It's still ok for me to make her a birthday cake.... but no more party games. She didn't ask for any more toys on her birthday list.  How did that happen??? We love you Ms. A and that you're growing up to become a beautiful young lady.  That you're big heart is so caring for others and for their good.  May you continue to grow in the beauty you are and always feel loved by our Heavenly Father, your family and friends. First Birthday cake....with French written on it.  She seems to be enjoying French class a whole lot more than I at her age :) (Sorrry I didn't flip this) Friend Birthday Party Cake Photo props curtesy of her cousin (Thank you Ms. J!) They had so much fun doing this photo shoot!! Yes, I even had to sneak in on the action...I can't resist a photo session. Fun ...

Year End Letter 2017

Merry Christmas               and    Blessings for 2018 2017 started off fairly well.....and ended off well too!  I don't think we had any big changes happen in our lives, but more ordinary ones.  We have been blessed and we hope you were too.  Although we see much suffering in the lives of those around us we can reflect this Christmas season on the promises we were given those many years ago!  Wherever your walk takes you in life may you feel the love of our Heavenly Father who sent his Son for us. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19 The story on our past year....even though I blog regularly about the events that happen.  Here is a summary of 2017 January was full of events.  The super cold winter we had makes for some fun times.  Skating on the family's farm slough!   An annual trip to Sunpeaks....all of us man...
