Private Property

Thanks to previous clients for recommending my name.  I was now sent up to a private property for a photography shoot.  Let me say GEORGOUS!! This couple has been married 20 years, has one graduated from high school and another graduating this year.  They stated they hadn’t had family photos in a very long time.  They were a fun crowd to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed my hour spent with them.

Love my family!

San Diego Part 1

Travels travels….my husband has travelled many days this year.  I believe he went on flight #55 when I was with him, or close to it anyways.  Thankfully I did make at least one with him.  The thought process for this trip began a long time ago.  D knew he was bound for Mexico and we thought we would like to get-a-way for our anniversary as we almost do annually. A Mexican resort sounded nice, but as it came closer to travel time D realized he was kind out of holiday time, and work was busy so it wasn’t that great of an idea.  Next option California.  I was fine with this…….other then having to travel to the airport alone.  I really don’t like bringing myself to airports.  Thankfully my lovely sister in law stepped in and drove me all the way to Vancouver so I could hop on my plane.  THANKS! Everything was working out just fine.  I had every little detail prepped and memorized in my mind.  I was to meet D in the humongous LA airport...

San Diego Part 2

Sunday was Remembrance Day in Canada and Memorial Day in the USA.  We thought it would be appropriate to pay our respects to those who’ve fought and are still fighting to maintain our freedom in our land and headed to the Cabrillo National Monument located on Point Loma.  You can see the San Diego Navy Air Base from here.  It was a gorgeous walk around this point and we watched some fighter jets for a while as well.  We did start our day in worship remembering where our true freedom comes from! Monday we were originally going to spend the day in Sea World……..I couldn’t justify the cost this time around and we’ll save our $$ for when we take our kids one day.  I love marine life, but I resisted.  Instead we were headed for LA that night anyways we made a day of driving along the coast to get there.  It was actually warm sometimes.  Almost warm enough to want to plunge into the ocean…….I did say ALMOST The life of a bird…… Enjoying the last ...

Our Little Man

Image
I can’t believe how fast this month is flying by.  Our little man Mr. E turned 2 in the beginning of the month and I haven’t even blogged about it yet.  High time I did! Day 1 and Year 1 Year 2 He’s such a little dude!  The funniest comment that I receive a lot is……”he’s such a boy!”  Well yes, I know he’s a boy.  He just has the all around boy behaviour, look, attitude I guess.  He is so much fun!  This is my favourite age in a child’s life!  He is learning to talk, he knows how to count to 12, sing his ABC’s and about 15+ other songs that he has memorized.  He loves to play piano and sing ‘Trust and Obey’  He has to follow his sisters and keep up with them no matter what!  For example today  I dropped Miss A off at school and Miss B wanted to take a back pack along to my next appointment….so Mr. E also needs a backpack.  He was so proud of his pink, ballerina backpack.  When we got to school he says “bye Mom, I...
