Kid Comparison

Image
You know how it is when you walk around with your baby and everyone has an opinion on how they look just like your other kids.  As a mom you just see your baby as their own being.  Or at least I do.  so I thought I would pull out some old photos of my kiddos and here they all are at 3 months old…….Love it!

Chaperoning

Swinging in the trees by the ocean. Nothing can beat that???  We made a little trek to Garbriola Island. Yes, we took this big boat Saw many of these guys on the island. The little guy had his first “swim” in the ocean.  Ok he got his feet wet. We saw some really funky sea animals of course Did a little biking.  Isn’t that an awesome view?  A great place to work out those muscles Our little man just hanging out! Chilling with his Uncle.  They get along fairly well. Oh and were you wondering about the title to this post?  Yes, we headed to the island with these two as their “chaperones”.  They attended a wedding on the island and we decided to make a nice little get-a-way out of it.  Thanks P + N for hanging.  I’m not sure about you two, but we had a great time…….

Summer in our own backyard!

Mr. E LOVES tractors.  He deciphers the colour green by stating that is John Deere. He’s also 2 as you can maybe tell in the photos….one minute he super happy and crazy but the next he’s tired and cranky.  Regardless we love him all the same! Sisters!  Best Friends! Hanging out in our backyard.  The best toy we bought this year was our trampoline.  Highly recommend this investment if you’re sitting on the fence on that one. Gardening was this girlies duty this summer.  She joined our school community’s garden club.  It has been an enjoyable time watching the plants grow, but also a learning curve as some disappeared for some reasons……. She also entered some of her delicious beans into our local fair and won a ribbon!   Playing with the little guy proves to be a great summer activity around this house. Beginning of Summer

Summer holidays started out right at the close of school.  Miss A finished off her last day and the next day 3 of the kiddos were dropped off at their grandparents for a couple nights while I was away in Calgary.  Then they were picked up for a road trip with daddy and Mr. A to meet me in Calgary.  They were good (so I’m told) and made it safe and sound…….and so began our holidays. Cousin time in Calgary……we had more adventures then snuggles, cuddles and giggles, but no more photos.  Our original plan was to head to Canmore, but with all the flooding in the area our plans were changed.  So rather we went to the far off land of Neerlandia and hung out with friends. This was the best part of his whole holiday.  A john deere just for him!! After all the fun in Neerlandia we took a 3 day trip home.  We spent good family time in the car In hotels, at a splash park, in the pool………we are anticipating our next family holiday…..but it isn’t for a few mont...

Graduate

I had the privilege of participating in the celebration of my oldest niece’s graduation.  It was a fun trip to Calgary even if the little guy wasn’t super happy. Congrats to you Miss K! You looked absolutely amazing and we wish you God’s blessing in the future as you plan and pursue University and a career! My other beautiful niece (of many beautiful nieces) who had a hand in the floral part of the evening.  Good job Miss J. The official ceremony (really I remember my ceremony clear as day…….could it really have been 11 years ago?) And my nephew graduating from Kindergarten!  That was fun to watch too!
