Last night marked a "new" for me.  I did a photography session on someone not related to me, nor a close friend of mine.  At first I was really nervous as my biggest weakness is confidence in my own work.  This couple was really easy going and so I hope they are satisfied with the pictures I took.  They are getting married at the end of December and wanted the pictures as soon as possible, so I edited some this morning already. Here are a few of the pictures from last night. The pretty sunset.

Fun Family Times.......are these related to you?

Sunday marked another year gone by in my life.......lots has happened in the past year and more is to happen again of course.  We are excited to add a new addition to our family, go on a camping trip with the whole clan, head to California? And whatever adventures there are yet in store for us.  Of course these aren't happening in the order listed above.  Anyways for my birthday I received a beautiful new gift from my hubby and girls.  A new lens for the camera.  Since the family was over it was as good of an opportunity as any to try and see how I like this new lens.  Of course we caught some pretty good pictures......but I still have to get used to the lens.  I only have a few days left to decide if I really like it or if I want to exchange it for something else to add to my camera collection.  Tonight I have a real trial with it as I have an engagement photography session to do.  Praying the weather holds out OK..... So here are a few ca...

Too adorable.

I was going through my pictures of my nephew.......at first glance I wasn't too impressed with the photo's I was taking. I guess your the worst critic of your own photography. I am now slowly going through my pictures again and I just realized how stink'in cute this little gaffer is. Than I noticed how cute his feet are all curled up in that newborn style. Yes, he's only like 7 days old here. He was a big baby remember....10lbs. He's so content and handsome and I hope our baby looks half as cute as him.

Two for Tea, Tea for Two

Another fun summer activity newly discovered by the girls.  Anything to do with water on a hot day is good for them.  The only problem is the teapot continually needs to be refilled.  They should somehow insert an endless tap into them, so Mom or Dad don't have to keep refilling.........but its better than getting into other sorts of trouble.  As if I can think of what that would be right now when I see this cute photo of them playing so nice.
