Seeing The Fingerprints

Oops, I didn’t officially take a photo of the little man at 7 months.  This is a cute one though 8 months today!  (Lots of snow coming down at our house)

Almost every year since the Mr and I have been dating we have rode the West Coast Express into Vancouver on the Christmas Train.  One year we had to miss out since we had a new baby (Miss A) Every other year we’ve managed to go on the train.  So when I looked it up off we went into Vancouver again.  Mr. J’s first Train Ride! We also met up and took along some special uncles and aunties….Thanks for entertaining the kids on the train and all over Vancouver you guys!  The kids loved it!

  I think I say it every year…….but I’m saying it again.  I can’t believe I have a 7 year old in the house!  It never is how long we’re married that makes me feel older, its seeing those oldest child's eyes and saying really she’s been in our lives for that long. But alas she has been a blessing and joy in our lives.  She’s growing up way to quickly! (Ok, some days I say not quick enough if I’m honest). Anyways here are some photos of her birthday, birthday party with family and the best of all candy land party that she shared with a  school friend. We love you Miss A.  We pray God will be with you in the years ahead.  That he will allow you to grow and turn into a wonderful young lady! 7 seems to be the year when toys start disappearing and craft supplies start appearing!  This is a good thing as her birthday is close to those Christmas holidays and now she has lots of things to keep her busy!  She also received a book from her auntie ...

Just have to blog these photos.  My hubby participated in Movember along with a few more people at his job.  Our girls were strongly opposed to Daddy growing a moustache, but to no avail did their threats come through.  Our one daughter told us if daddy grows a moustache I’m moving out to the neighbours.  She stayed the whole month!  I also stayed the whole month and when he finally did shave it off he left for a trip to Israel. So looking forward to seeing him come home tonight moustache free! Love you babe!  It was fun watching you grow this for a good cause!  We’ll see if you do it again?

Every birthday the kids are permitted to pick out their birthday cake.  I often then work around the cake to create a theme for a party.  I made this cake for a nephew this past summer and Mr. E was thrilled about it and so I had to make this cake for him too! He was for sure Happy about it! Buried in his gifts. (He was so spoiled!) This was the highlight of the party.  The Fire Man obstacle race!  I will definitely be doing something like this again!  They first entered the course by crawling on their knees under the smoke (blanket). The kids then had to put on the fire truck and run through the “pylons” making siren noises.  Drop off the fire truck, put on their fire man uniform and fill up the “hose” and squirt out the fire (made of chalk).  Many smiles were on the kids faces. Doesn’t this photo just remind you of peacefulness?  You can see the softness of his skin and the relaxed posture all he knows is loads of love and so he can sleep in peace! Bradenton Beach on The Gulf Of Mexico wasn’t just full of peaceful babies we had a blast on the amazing beach.  These photos of our last evening in Florida watching the sun go down on another day. Happy Birthday to my amazing 3 year old!  I think I may have to create a story board of this little guy on my wall.  He just LOVES the beach and has the amazing smile on his face whenever he is there.  The boogie board did wonders too. This is also the smile he carried around almost all day today!  He was so proud that he is now 3! Love you little buddy!               Good bye to Florida!  An amazing vacation a blessing to have spent these precious memories as a family.
