Seeing The Fingerprints

Isn’t she a doll…….will be fixing all that hay off of her hat…just wanted to give Mrs. L a sneak peak of the photo’s. Didn’t want to participate too much…….but that is so typical for his age. Blue eyes!  Don’t have those around my house We were thinking a rose would’ve done him well. How to stick this one in.  How many 6 year old boys are gonna give you a modeling pose?   Hope you enjoyed.

And so as time flew on by we also celebrated A’s birthday.  D and I had a great time trying to find her gift.  The most popular toy of 2011 the Leappad by Leapfrog.  What an adventure.  We tried online, we tried in stores, we tried having a system alert us when they were available, but within seconds poof they were gone.  So we didn’t find one, but found her a Leapster Explorer instead.  She said it was her favourite gift of her whole birthday!  Phew!  Mom and Dad did good.  The story doesn’t end here though.  A few days ago while shopping in the USA we came upon this Leappad.  I couldn’t believe my eyes. I picked it up and showed it to D and he says “were buying it!” I don’t’ care.   So she now has exchanged her Leapster for the Leappad.  So much fun!  Well we think so! Anyways the photo’s of her day(s) Since Grandma and Grandpa just came back from Hawaii thought a turtle cake was an appropriate way to celeb...

So I had promised my dear sister I was going to post pictures of our son’s birthday.  So here I finally have 5 minutes to quickly post. I worked with a fish theme.  So the first party he had with his “friends” we had fishy cupcakes.   The kids seemed to love the rainbow of fish.  I also made the kids go fishing for their goodie bags.  At 1 E didn’t need games, but all the other 15 kids did 2 Birthday party #2 was dinner with my side of the family.  This was also a celebration for my brother and my sister-in-law.  I thought the fish theme flowed nicely through to this party as well since my brother likes fishing   Not sure about my sister-in-law though. I love the photo of my dad taking care of the 2 boys!  He made sure they were all fed!   Wonder what part of the cake the kids wanted to eat…. And our handsome little guy (not biased right!) also had a 3rd party with my hubby’s family.  Not sure what I did for a cake,...

Hopefully soon I will be able to do a little posting…..it has been busier then normal for some reason.  I have another photo session tomorrow.  Very excited!  And a little nervous as it involves hats = shadows… As many of you I’m sure the season is keeping you busy…….so take time to relax! see you in the mall December 24
