Breaking before....

Round 1 of production  Round 2 of production with a pot of pea soup made as well... Now I'm sitting here dreaming that the dishes and mess will just disappear on there own. That I don't need to mop up the floor before more showings tomorrow. That Some helper will appear and take up the task for a trade.  Does anyone else ever feel like that after going mad in the kitchen?

So it’s a trip we no longer discuss if we’re going or not rather it’s a trip discussed of when we’re going.  This long time tradition is always a blast.  A little different this year as we each took on our own condos to make it a little less chaotic.  The numbers of guests kept getting larger, but all in all it was another fantastic trip with friends!  Thanks B’s for another great trip! First Day on the slopes…took a little getting used to Then some great tobogganing happened! I can still hear giggles and screams just looking at these photos. Sometimes it was time to relax and take it easy!  Crafting and playing with Polly’s, hot tubbing. Eating chocolate…. Hanging out with friends on the slopes.  Your day doesn’t get much better then that.  Memories! Oh we even found a slide…. Overall we had a great holiday.  I don’t think we had anything crazy happen to us there.  No good stories just great fun! Oh RALPH!!!!

Our little guy wouldn’t let go of his newest little cousin……..he pretty much would take her from anyone who was holding her…got a little dangerous. My sister was privileged come have newborn snuggles with her new niece to! January and February Family party at our house!  Gotta love all these nieces and nephews…even if 1/2 of them are missing…

Day to day busyness

It's past the middle of January and it's been busy around here. Mostly ordinary things.  Like play fighting causing dislocated wrists Or Swimming lessons at our local pool Or Hanging out in the fridge to read.... Those sort of ordinary things

So I’m thankful I blogged while away this time……..who knew coming home so close to Christmas would be so busy! Now that the girls are back in school and things feel a little more ‘normal’ around here I thought I’d hit the blog one last time about this trip. for the photos that haven’t been seen yet. Remember if you want to see something bigger just click on the image. The evidence of our Sunday kayak trip. And below are the last pictures of our amazing day with our sponsor child. This girl sang a song for us.  She had it memorized and it was fairly long. The staff at Compassion.  This was just before we were told we had to get up front and make a speech…. The staff performed a drama for us.  They did it to the song ‘I Can Only Imagine’ by Mercy Me. This was done in English, but if it was in Spanish I’m sure I could’ve sang it anyways.  This was the one that brought me into tears. We toured the project grounds. This is the kitchen where Compassion kids lea...
