Seeing The Fingerprints

When your daughter celebrates a birthday in one of the busiest months of the year you cram all her parties in a short span of time....Yes, 3 parties in 2 days!   Waking up to Daddy being back home with flowers and your spot full of gifts! What is better than that on your birthday?? A whole lot of girls came over to celebrate 2 special girls birthdays...there were a lot of snack disappearing very quickly. Friends spoiling friends Isn't that cake adorable??? First year I made zero cakes for this kiddo...but thankful for all my host partners for making such beautiful and fun cakes. A little while ago I put the link back up on my social media page from a blog about Mother's Day.  Although I get very emotional about the day and the upcoming to the day with my precious Mom being in heaven, I do remember that I have the honour of celebrating motherhood and celebrating with other mothers in my life.  I know it can be a difficult day for many in different ways.   My one little guy who hangs out with me a lot gave me a special treat when I was down....how can you not resist his smile, with a card, cup of water and an apple all delivered with that big smile and even bigger heart. Shortly after that day I was given the privilege of going on a much desired field trip with my daughter.  If you know me at all, or even through this blog you know how much I desire the ocean and the wonders of it.  This trip to Salt Spring Islands did not fail me or my wonder of our wonderful creator.  We have so much more to experience from the ocean..... ...

The littlest guy had another birthday....and since he's home alone with me regularly he is on a lot of pictures :). Ok second reason he asks to go on a lot of pictures.  He is growing up way to quickly, but I'm kind of ready for it too... Photo overload of the latest birthday boy. He also helps me at school  Getting ready for parties!!!  this kid loves to craft, so what better way to craft then making crafts for a birthday.  Ninja lollipops! Out with one of his best friends.... The actual day of his birthday. OH SO EXCITING!!! Time with Dad! ( is the best)

      I have been away from the blog for a while.  Rather than typing things on my blog I've been clicking the keys regularly typing up assignments for school!  I've made it through 3 out of 4 papers so far and have submitted 2 of the 4.  I am thoroughly enjoying school now, even if the struggles and nerves at the beginning were a lot louder than the likes....I think the roles have reversed and now the joy speaks louder than the nerves.  Ok, maybe not this week.  With the kids being off of school on spring break it is a real struggle to get work done on my last assignment.  So I'm in writers block for the moment and headed over here....      We have done some fun and exciting things as well these past few months.  It has all been text books and homework.      Like our Annual Ski Trip to Sunpeaks....
