19:30

The time of day when you want your little ones to be soundly sleeping, your house tidy and ready to go for the morning, the time where you are ready to put up your feet from a busy day in a busy household…..so I commend all single parents who do their job day in day out alone.  It’s 19:30 and the kids are fed, they are in bed and most of the dishes are done, but that is as far done as things are around here today.  Why I still am “putting up my feet” now is to rejuvenate for the tornado ahead of me.  Why alone………….since coming back from Hawaii and trying to get back into the grind for about 24 hours my dear husband was called to make a flight away for business last minute.  So I’m glad for the wonderful vacation we had together the past week and will share those moments via photo’s with you now.

Our ride!  7 years ago on our honeymoon we also rented a Subaru so when it was one of our options to rent this time around we couldn’t say no…..they are fun cars!  Oh and how often to you get a picture of a car in this nice of a location Winking smile

Here is D anticipating the blow hole to go off.  Sitting waiting for that perfect picture.  The nice thing was while we were waiting the spray would cool us off.  This make look all beautiful but it was a little bit of work to hike around this area on volcanic rock….if you had runners it may not be too big of an issue but doing it in flip flops…maybe not recommended.  As one tourist commented “oh to be young again!”  He was even wearing fairly good foot wear and wouldn’t climb around where we all went.  Needless to say it will always be a story……one where on the next hike proved that flip flops are not good footwear as mine broke.  Handy Dandy wal-mart came to the rescue and new flip flops were purchased for the next hike?
