Maybe I shouldn’t be the one writing this post as their are so many fabulous writers out there. However here I am knowing that some people are eagerly waiting to see the photo’s that I had a privilege to take.  Not too long ago a lady in our church was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  Currently she is in the battling stages.  Things don’t always go according to our plan, but they do go according to our Heavenly Father’s plan and so many of us in our church, and her family and many other friends have been lifting her up in prayer.  People pour out love in so many different ways, food, hugs, flowers, cards, words.  And for this occasion a few talented ladies came together with a brilliant idea to make a quilt.  Now it wasn’t just this idea to sew a gorgeous quilt together, but to involve many ladies from our  church to send a personal message of hope, comfort, love.

Once the messages and sewing were complete a beautiful tea was given by another talented member and a great friend of J.  A few guests were invited to come and help give this outpour of love and so you can see the event unfold.  The expressions on J’s face are just so wonderful.  You are sure to have a smile, or maybe a tear along with hers.

All ready to go!

SURPRISE!  I guess you may need to know the story on how she was surprised.  Mrs. R told Mrs. J that they were going to have a tea.  Well of course the question arises, well who is coming to this tea.  Thankfully Mrs. R had a great excuse with having some of her grandchildren from out of town who Mrs. J also adores.  Well she was for sure surprised as you can tell when she saw our faces sitting behind a beautifully set table for tea.

Mrs. J’s expression once she found out that this quilt laying on the table was actually for her.  I just love this expression.

Wrapped in LOVE!

We Love you Mrs. J and we all our praying this battle goes well.  We know God is in control and have to be patient and understanding of his path.  The most unique thing is on the day we gave this to you, I think personally I learned a whole lot more from you about accepting what God gave you on this journey.  You have been a blessing to all of us.
