Seeing The Fingerprints

I can’t believe a month has flown by again.  Our little man is at the 10 month mark already.  He has a mouthful of teeth and just loves to take a chomp of your toes or jeans or wrist.  I’m not sure if he likes the feeling or the reaction to those sharp little bites.  He still is walking full force around furniture and holds his toys for support instead of the couch once in a while. He loves to babble and squeal and drop things with a prompt uh-oh (I think that is his first word). His favorite activity currently is to tackle a teddy bear.  

Saturday’s Snow It was sticky, snow ball and snow chair making kind of snow…. our usual BC like snow. Along came Sunday’s snow…. Could only sit on the Saturday’s snow chair and roll around in the fluffy snow.  Still fun though! We took this little man out in the snow too!  He didn’t mind being pulled around on his sled, but the wind blowing snow in his face wasn’t his favorite. Today the girls headed to school all bundled in snow gear.  The bus made it to school, but before we knew it the girls (and the rest of the students) were sent home as the road conditions weren’t great and a few of the other buses didn’t make it too school.  So today was snow day!  Yesterday we had about 23 cm of snow, but I have no idea how much more we have.  The wind has being blowing drifts around so its hard to get an accurate measurement…..Hopefully tomorrow it’s a little better some kids are a little cabin fevered even though they went outdoors for a while.

D’s dad turned 60! The kids had fun making him this special card…. They had to put a cow on it because Grandpa milks cows…. (He’s sporting his new coat from all of his kids and grandkids) And of course 60 treats inside is fun to!  (Mostly because Grandpa shares)

  So it seems to be fairly quiet around these parts.  There are things going on in our lives, but maybe not blog worthy.  Only about 2 more days and our little gaffer will be hitting the 10 month mark, so instead of posting an adorable photo of him again, I thought I better blog about something else.  Today was culture day at school  We sent Ms. A off in her Indian outfit.  It’s nice to know that outfit I got about 9 years ago has finally being worn for something other than dress-up at home.                      I also put some “Henna” on her hand as this is very Indian.   These 3 wanted a picture to! 

This little man is 9 months old now.  He has learned the crawl very well.  He's also decided that isn't good enough and needs to stand up by every piece of furniture that he can.  He's attempted to climb a few stairs and has managed to walk between a few pieces of furniture as well. Time to baby proof!      

Life is rolling on by, seems like not much is happening yet a lot is happening at the same time.... Our little man is 9 months old now and crawling and eating anything and everything his little eyes can find.  This has been keeping me on my toes and watching out for any little specks of things he can eat.  I don't always catch these things before he does.  It makes for a busy day running around after him.  Good thing he naps part of his day! We also have returned home from our first 2014 get-a-way. The first one was our annual trip to Sunpeaks.  This year we had three kids on skis!  They all loved it!  As always we enjoyed good food, good company, great weather (iffy snow). I was a little lazy with my camera however....but with 9 kids 8 years and younger I was leery to leave it anywhere but in its camera bag :)  And yes I was too lazy to hike the stairs every time to dig it out.  I'm sure I'll come to regret it, but there are a few mor...

Oops, I didn’t officially take a photo of the little man at 7 months.  This is a cute one though 8 months today!  (Lots of snow coming down at our house)
