Seeing The Fingerprints

  So it’s the big 3-0 year for me and there is a lot going on in my life right now, but it doesn’t mean I’ve slowed down and haven’t taken time to celebrate the life I’ve been given.  So I’ve started celebrating this year with some great friends! These are the friends that have been around and supported me through all the important years, moments, and memories of life. These are what I call my golden friends. (You remember that song right.  Make new friends, but keep the old….)  Unfortunately all the golden friends couldn’t make it to this celebration.  Life has moved and shifted us all into many different directions. Some live farther away and others run very busy home lives.  We missed the ones that couldn’t make it, but the ones who did come.  I had a blast!  And I love you all!  Thanks for the fantastic weekend and to our one friends parents for loaning us this fantastic get-a-way location. Father’s Day has come and gone.  We had a fun time spoiling my kids’ dad.  We always have a hard time “spoiling” our own dads, but we did manage to get in some visits and a few treats. Here is D in his element with his kiddos. So much love!

Can you guess the theme of this years birthday?? Spoiled by her aunties, uncles, grandma and grandpa and cousins the night before her birthday. So excited to open up those presents Exactly what she was hoping for plus flowers from her daddy! Happy with her cake. Fun times partying with her friends!

After watching her sister for 2 years it’s finally her turn.  She practiced long jump in our backyard and did well! I love this motion shot of hair and feet flying! Trying to push her way through.  The long run, she did well!  Not may favourite…. Pretty Beat Hula hoopin it! These 2 were having a blast out in the field! Their form of cheering The girls biggest fans Go, go, go.  Miss A doing the short run!  I believe she won third place. 1st place jumper! Much improvement from the previous 2 years thanks to all that practicing in the backyard Ready to compete against those classmates.  2nd in this sport.  The girls love being out on the field in a different “school” environment.  It was a great day watching them perform and enjoy and encourage their classmates on.

These 2 are really starting to play more together.  Its great for the upcoming September when both sisters are going to be in school full time. He LOVES being outside and doesn’t care if those feet are wet. This little guy also loves bath time.  After his bath and he had his pj’s all on he thought he rejoin his siblings….. Miss A attended her first year of GEMS . She loved this program and always had loads of talking to do when she’d come home late.   We always tried to let her talk some of it out and then urged her to bed.  It was really neat watching her grow and learn more about God.
