2016

This is a new year.....

With many new changes happening our way.  Not sure how excited I am for 2016 really?

We are on the hunt for a new home in a new town....but nothing has really crossed our paths yet. (Yes, we haven't even lived in the house we are currently for a year.)
1st and last Christmas in this house...
Enjoyed this special day with my Dad as well.

We are struggling watching my Dad suffering daily with disease.  We know and understand he's in God's loving care.  We enjoy the time he isn't doing to bad and can have good conversation.  We also see many wondrous ways God is working during these difficult days.

We are currently hosting some visitors in our home! Hopefully they don't feel over hugged by some of our kids :)  But they are really loved!
Birthday Celebration for my brother-in-law.  And it wouldn't be a birthday without singing and blowing out a candle!

And our little guy has them wrapped around his finger!  Reading books.
The kids can't wait until these girls wake up and come back from wherever they go for the day.

And this is where we currently are travelling still on the unknown, unsettling path.  I know it will come together, but sometimes I just wish I knew the path...but take comfort in this question and answer.

What does it benefit us to know
that God has created all things
and still upholds them by his providence?

A.
We can be patient in adversity, 1
thankful in prosperity, 2
and with a view to the future
we can have a firm confidence
in our faithful God and Father
that no creature shall separate us
from his love; 3
for all creatures are so completely in his hand
that without his will
they cannot so much as move. 4
