Emerald, Jade....
" And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald." Revelation 4:3
Today is a day we remember the loss of our Mom. Although she departed earth 2 years ago so much has happened and changed in our lives since that day. From a whirlwind of dealing with a sick Dad, to losing our Dad as well. So it's not just her we miss on this day we also are missing him. Some times it's difficult to know how to pick up the pieces of life. Sometimes we feel we miss out on certain things in life. Connections that only your parents hold. Or the connection of parents in your life. Even with the offers of many listening ears somehow Mom's was the best....or to make a decision on certain things, others give advice, but somehow Dad's was the final answer.
Add in a rainbow to the above images and it's just a piece of what my Mom and Dad are enjoying at this time.....
"And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet" Rev. 4: part of 1
And this must be marvellous!

Yet when I look at the photos of Emerald, Jade and Carnelian a brightness shines through of pure beauty. The one who made these pieces of beauty also offers the ultimate listening ear and grants us the most precious advice when we seek it. When we seek it we find it!
We were left behind here on earth to fulfill a task to share with others about a Creator gave us beauty in life. We can/and do this in our continuing grief and loss of our loved ones.
Come Lord Jesus! Maranatha.
For all those who grieve may God surround you and comfort you in days of trouble. May you find beauty in the breath of life we're given here for now. And share that more beauty is to come!
Sending out Love and Prayers to my family as we miss these 2...
