Year End Letter 2017

Merry Christmas
and
Blessings for 2018
2017 started off fairly well.....and ended off well too! I don't think we had any big changes happen in our lives, but more ordinary ones. We have been blessed and we hope you were too. Although we see much suffering in the lives of those around us we can reflect this Christmas season on the promises we were given those many years ago! Wherever your walk takes you in life may you feel the love of our Heavenly Father who sent his Son for us.
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19
The story on our past year....even though I blog regularly about the events that happen. Here is a summary of 2017
January was full of events. The super cold winter we had makes for some fun times. Skating on the family's farm slough!
An annual trip to Sunpeaks....all of us managed to get a pair of skis on and hit the slopes this year!!! Even the littlest guy.. He was pretty confident that he could ski all on his own!
Enjoying snuggles with the new little niece of ours.
After enjoying the snow at Sunpeaks....we built an igloo bigger than us in our own backyard. That was the fun part. Digging out our driveway not so much.
We love watching the view change out of our living room window.
The husbands boss whisked a group of us off to Palm Springs. The spouses worked in the am...and then the whole group enjoyed some activities in the afternoons.
Like Water skiing in FEBRUARY!!! and still managing to stay warm!
Someone was looking for a new look
He needed glue to fix his upper lip.... :(
(almost wished they stitched it though as he ripped the glue out a few days later)

A time to build up....
Also a time to say "good bye" earlier I said our niece moved in with us. Before the holiday season began she has now moved out of our crazy home and is now living with a new roommate who won't wake her up early Saturday morning anymore :) We hope she is blessed in her new location and of course still in beautiful BC
These are all beautiful memories of our past year! We experienced and saw many things that were all orchestrated by our Heavenly Father. From being together as a family, meeting "new" family members, seeing animals big and small, celebrating a new life and one that was 100 years old. From seeing glorious mountains and playing beautiful music, we had moments of fun and yet sometimes we experienced pain too. In each and everyone of these moments we know that it was meant to be! For our Heavenly Father takes care of you and me!

Love seeing all your pics from throughout the year! I also love that verse so so much.
