School Day Fun/Thankfullness
A first for everything when you go to school. This is A with the majority of her class. Somehow they decided to pose themselves on this rock. It was rather cute.
The KB class went on a “Creation” walk. They had to search for things that God made living or non living. It is actually amazing when you go on a short walk how much God really did put in the world out there. From chestnuts, rocks, horses and blackberries he made them all. Glory be to Him alone!
A with some of her best friends.
We also had the opportunity to watch A in action. Since we came back from our walk early the kids had time for show n’ tell. They had to bring in an item starting with the letter E or F. A brought in both this time as she brought a flower for F and her favorite little brother for E.
These 2 also benefitting from A’s school day.
It has been just over a month now and A has I think finally learned everyone’s name. She used to come home and be like “mom you know that girl with the pink shirt” or “Mom you know that boy that looks like my cousin A.” So there I was attempting to guess which student in her class she was telling me a story about. Don’t worry mom’s they were all good . She still loves school and was actually disappointed this week was cut short with only 1 school day in it……..but play dates made up for the loss.
Also Thanksgiving is on Monday and do we ever have so much to be thankful for. Our gracious Heavenly Father above all. And to him be the praise. Even though we may have hard days, even though we pull our hair out on other days, we also have days of fun and smiles and sunshine and blessings beyond our means…..He carries us on the hard ones and walks beside us on the “easy” ones. Wherever we are whatever we are doing we hear our Father’s footsteps.
So Happy Thanksgiving to you.
It was a Happy Thanksgiving this year! We really enjoyed the pictures of Adelle at school. I hope Grandparents day is a ways off yet, since it's hard to come to terms with us being old enough to have a granddaughter in school already!
