Seeing The Fingerprints

So another short and sweet post with pictures, because really I'm going to go outside and enjoy the sunshine! What do you think the little black thing is in the middle of the picture? This blog is going to be short and sweet........I sent my hubby out for paint and he came home with a few extra things and well a treat for his prego wife.  So I need to go and finish painting the baby room and well enjoy my treat (now and after) The second day on the coast of Oregon we spent by the dunes.  Last time we attempted to "find" the dunes but weren't truly satisfied with what we discovered.  This time we went back to the same location and just realized we might as well enjoy it as what it is...maybe next time we will experience some dune bugging or quading on the other portion of the dunes, for now we did enjoy this time with the kids. Daddy and his l'il girl.  Love those bonding moments. Daddy and his 2 l'il precious daughters.  How long do you think they lasted walking up this dune? Nope not even halfway and he was carrying them both up the hill and possibly had to come back to get his wife up there too.  (She made it slowly but surely)....

Well its official we made it in our tent in Oregon for 4 whole nights.  The experience was fun.  The kids loved it and slept extremely well after those long hard days being outdoors.  We began our holiday in a hotel in Everett.  It was dark by the time we arrived and weren't too thrilled with the idea of setting up camp in the dark......so a beautiful, warm hotel we stayed at.  B had nicely fallen asleep on the way as well as A.  But A was too curious about everything going on around her once we got to the hotel she stayed awake for way too long afterwards.  This made it difficult for D to get C a late night pregnancy snack from the corner store without A wanting some too!  We didn't give in to her desires as we told her she should be sleeping anyways. The next morning we had "free" breakfast from the hotel.  We were up and at them fairly early so we even could sneak into the pool for an hour swim before we left the hotel.  Both girls j...

Since this won't be our family photo for Christmas as our addition should be on it by then I thought I would share our photo.  Even though there was like 4 people around trying to get us to smile do you think we could do it all at the same time.  A is in to posing just so for photo's and sometimes forgets to wear a smile.  I still like it though even if we did this pose and took the shots all within 5 minutes. Anyways we (I think) have finalized our plans for our up and coming holiday time starting tomorrow after D gets home from work. So off to finding a few more camping items today and packing last minute etc.  We've haven't camped in our tent in years so this will definitely be an adventure for us as I have really no experience......if all else fails D says we can still head to a hotel :)  You're going to have to wait and see what happens to us when we return in a week. 

Yesterday, a holiday.......since it was lousy weather we did what we do best SHOPPED!  This time we headed to a few second hand stores and I picked up a new baby names book.  Yes, the title.  I've started reading it as I'm starting to worry that our baby is going to be born nameless if I don't start.  Do you think I can find any names that I love or like in a book with 100,001 names in it...............nope.  OK I've written a list, but nothing is standing out really. I think its just more humorous reading the book anyways.  Like who would name their child (sorry if your name is this or if your thinking it.........but I just can't resist) Erlina Bachir Gow Obioma I could go on and on with the list of names.......but I'm sure you've read or seem some interesting names yourself. So really it isn't getting us any closer to finding a name for our child.  Even reading the movie credits from last night didn't inspire me.  This poor child.....I'm...

My family has been talking about taking a camping trip together for months and the time finally came and now has gone again.  We had a blast just being together making memories.  Here are some photo's of our time together.  I would write more, but I'm journaled out for the day as I wrote in 3 journals all day long :) Sunday Devotions Kids Sunday Devotions The Men still deep in discussion. I bet you're drooling now.  Tuesday morning we held a chocolate chip cookie competition.  12 entries from the juniors and 7 entries from the adults.
