Ok…..maybe this is actually the final post.

My niece and her friend are over to take care of our girls while we head to party tonight.  They came over a little early to just hang out with the girls so I’m enjoying some peace as now the laundry is all folded! So a continuation of our events. I hosted my very first Turkey Christmas dinner and well I can say it was a success.  Though I do have to give credit to my dear mother who prepared the turkey in advance.  All I had to do was put the bird in the oven at the right time!  I also made the potatoes, extra stuffing and veggies.  Oh and I just realized I forgot the applesauce……..no one seemed to notice though. Hanging out before the dinner. Who knew that a kids game could be so entertaining! An intense game of Guesstures!  Thanks H+S for bringing it along. Time to feast! The goofy kid table.  I remember sitting at a table back in the day being as hyper as these 4.  That’s what kid wine does...

The Final Post for 2010

Wow!  Did the time ever pass by quickly.  Although I didn’t feel overwhelmed with Christmas festivities, we still did a lot of fun things.  We truly feel overwhelmed by Blessings in this past year and this season.  The beginning of our celebrating started out at a work dinner from D’s company IMW .  We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Coast Hotel as well as some good entertainment by some comedian ( I can’t remember his name). The SANTA train put on by the West Coast Express annually was our second event of the Christmas season.  Even with a little hesitation the day before from D our day was fantastic!  We rode the train, sky train, 2 busses and ended up in Kerrisdale.  Here we enjoyed a home packed lunch with some yummy Starbucks.  After that we had a ride on a horse and carriage along with Santa.  This is the first year our girls could look at him without shedding a tear! A picture of little E as he did co...

My friend, aka neighbour bakes and decorates cakes.  Well needless to say she is amazing. Look what she did for our 4 year olds birthday cake this year. A wanted a Snow White cake for her birthday……which I was going to do.  Than my friend volunteered to make it.  Than it turned into this WOW! That wasn’t the original plan, but A loved it!!!  So thanks K.K.  ( you know who you are ) I will post soon about our Christmasy things we did this past season, but for now you’re just going to have to wait!

Christmas News Letter

For our out of town guests I sent our Christmas letter, but I thought maybe you blog readers would like to read it too .  So here it is.  Its a long one! ABCDE News Another year has passed by and once again it was full of many rich blessings. We pray that your year too has been full of God’s goodness and grace as well. We are thankful to our Heavenly Father for providing us with such a wonderful year. We’ll give you a quick update of 2010... A is now 4 years old and quite excited about it. She is busy learning new things every day. She is often found writing letters to all of her friends and wants to know how to spell their names. She learned to spell out our family’s names except for the latest member. She is a very social girl wanting a friend over or going to their house. The other day she said, “Mom can I go to a friend’s house, I don’t feel like playing with Beth today.” Some other highlights of her life are becoming a big sister again, passing swimming lessons, campin...

6 Weeks into his life and our son is now at the weight of the title .  Wow!  He didn’t stay a little baby very long…but he still is adorable. Today I feel like sharing some photo’s mostly…I really am supposed to be making muffins, but I’m enjoying some nice computer time right now. My friend aka Aunt N. took pictures of our family and for little E’s birth announcement.  Here are a few of my favourite photo’s after she spent I’m sure a quite a bit of time editing.  LOVE YOU GIRL! And this photo……..well you’ll understand when you see it! Wishing you a fun week before the big celebration of Christmas!  We don’t have too busy thankfully….but just for fun I might hit the mall on Christmas eve!  I love people watching……and what is more interesting than watching people (MEN) scrounging around for last minute gifts. And one more of our smiley little E.

Life with a baby is a whole lot busier than I remember…..oh how we forget these things.  Thankfully he is really a good baby and we do still get things done around this house. A little over a week ago our oldest turned 4!  I can’t really fathom the thought that I’ve been a Mom for 4 years now.  She truly is a precious girl and I love her to bits.  So Happy Belated Birthday to my beautiful 4 year old.             A few pictures from her photo shoot which I took while still pregnant and new I would have the chance.  And I can say very thankful I did. 1 Day old 1 Years Old 2 Years old 3 Years old
