Everyone is in the holiday mode!
So today proved(after mr. J fell back to sleep after 5:30-6:10am)to be a good day. Everyone woke up relaxed and we ate another good breakfast before we all headed out to the pool for a morning swim. I took a lot of pool photos this morning and a few other pictures before heading into the pool myself. J loves the water but after a while was cranky so I took him out and he promptly fell asleep in the lounging chairs.
Our German friend came by to say hello and dropped off a beautiful shell for the kids. He told us that a few years back on the same beach there were lots of big nice colourful shells, but now they are all pretty boring. The kids weeper thrilled with the one he found them though.
After a long swim we headed back into the condo I packed a lunch and the kids played. This time they were all cleaners and each had a broom. I'm not sure how much sand was swept up, but I'm sure it helped a little. Later We couldn't find E....hmmm wonder what he was up to this time? We found him putting on the lotion. " mom I need that to have nice legs!" Ok the damage wasn't too extensive this time
Since lunch was packed we drove to lauderdale by the sea. Ate our lunch under a cool cabana and headed down the streets for some souvenir shopping. The kids now each have one souvenir so they are spending the hard earned $$$. We also stopped for frozen yogurt as it was "soooo" hot!
Today is our last night here in Ft. lauderdale and so we thought we would take the camera and attempt our family photos.....we had crying kids, injured kids, loveable cute kids (oh that's all of them), but no winning photo of all of us together yet....good thing were heading another few days by the beaches where we will have a set of hands rather then timers and walls to take our photo.
Since everyone was down with the photo taking we ate dinner and can you guess what we did? SWAM again. It pays off everyone fell asleep peacefully tonight!
We are excited to start holidaying with two sisters and one brother-in-law tomorrow and head to Disneyworld! Wonder what sort of stories we will have ( hopefully no one will get lost)
